[Semicolon] Mental Health Awareness - Original Abstract Painting
Black and hot pink semicolon painted with palette knives. This painting is me finally waving my flag. I suffered and struggled in silence for far too long. I often wonder how many people are out there like me, pretending to have their shit together while dying and hating life on the inside...
Art has given me an outlet for the feelings I cannot express in words. It has been very therapeutic for me and I have made it a major part of my self care routine. I have learned to acknowledge my imperfections and embrace them. It has also given me the ability to open up more to my family, ultimately leading to me being a better wife and mother.
